I’m Vanessa from Vanessa Rose Photography, it’s so nice to meet you!

A good photograph can either tell a story or look beautiful. A great photograph can do both. I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting, but it can also be somewhat overwhelming.
You’re planning the day that you’ve been dreaming of your entire life and there are just so many things to do and decisions to make! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is all over! My goal as your wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the wedding planning process simple.
Photography is more than just pictures, it’s the part of your day that lives on. Not only do you deserve beautiful pictures, you also deserve an unforgettable wedding photography experience. When my couples feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images!
When I think back to my wedding day, I made some amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the ones that were captured in my pictures. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and authentic? I sure think so!
My goal is to not only finely-craft beautiful memories for my couples, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
MY PHILOSOPHY
I’m in love with love! I am truly a hopeless romantic and because of that I am genuinely invested in your love story. One of the ways I make sure that my brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photography experience possible, is by forming a real relationship with them. I do my best to make sure that all of my couples are the perfect fit for me before officially booking.
THE PROCESS
A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process with their photographer! After booking, I love getting to know my couples better through a complimentary ENGAGEMENT SESSION. This will give you both a chance to get in front of the camera together before you get married, helping to make your wedding day feel much more smooth,
seemless, and comfortable. It will also allow us to make the most of our time together at your wedding, ensuring you get stunning pictures, while still being able to enjoy your big day with family and friends!

Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to decide what you value most. Is it the dress? The food? The Venue?
As a bride and photographer, I believe that couples should make their wedding photography a top priority. After all of your guests have gone home, all the cake has been eaten, and the big day is over, you will leave with only the memories of your special day.
All of the planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours. So if you’re choosing to invest in high quality photography, those images deserve a classy, elegant home of their own after the wedding. I offer high end, quality linen and leather bound Heirloom Wedding Albums for my couples. The images are printed straight onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top quality fabric or leather.
This is the perfect ending to The Wedding Experience and it’s a

I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 25 miles of travel are included.

THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE
DIGITAL FILES
I average 75-100+ images per hour that I’m photographing. I love delivering my couple’s wedding pictures quickly and easily through a private online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share with family and friends, and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want from my photographer!
COVERAGE
I am often asked if 8 hours is enough time to capture the full wedding story and the answer is yes, absolutely! The main goal right now is securing and saving your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a better idea of your timeline.
MY SHOOTING STYLE
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the day when I will need to take the lead in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. I teach my couples how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and can therefore enjoy more time together with family and friends. In every wedding collection I like to include a mix of details, portraits and candid moments, all captured with a fine-art touch.
BOOKING
Once I have answered any questions you may have over email, coffee, or brunch, and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online custom proposal that will walk you through your wedding collection package and when you’re ready you can reserve your date by signing your contract and paying your non-refundable booking retainer online.
